Nice story, not well delivered via audiobook

This review is 4 stars because I was disappointed by Laura Jennings’ narration. Because the character voices didn’t change, it was hard to follow and know who was actually talking. Also because s&m isn’t my cup of tea, it was rather uncomfortable to listen to the intimate scenes. Other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed the story and the characters, especially Troy. Breaking up because you and your partner want different things in life is difficult. Time and space will change people - in this case, for the better.

Obsessed with Harper Bliss

Since picking up And then she kissed me, I have read 16 Harper Bliss novels in 2 months! They are such a joy to read, with Harper love always wins. Sapphic novels and movies these days always have bad endings, but not with Harper. Thank you so much for lighting my flame again.

Shewweee. I mean... there will be some will LOVE how this book is set up. The characters' obstacles, something that touched me for different reasons, helped me stick to the book. Finding their way keeps you wondering what will happen next. I know Harper would not disappoint, and that thought kept me until the end. I really enjoyed the narrator for this book too. Another amazing listen!
